Inviting Foreign Visitors

Foreign visitors are foreign nationals who visit, carry out research or work temporarily with the U of A. The majority of foreign visitors will enter Canada under Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada's (IRCC) International Mobility Program (IMP), however there are some categories of foreign visitors who are exempt from this program. Foreign nationals who travel to the U of A as students are also exempt from the program.
