Benefit Costs

The cost of your pension and benefit plans makes up a significant portion of your total compensation as an employee of the University of Alberta.

The following are the approximate costs of benefits in addition to paid salary:

  • Academic Staff - 20% of salary
  • Support Staff - 23% of salary
